American Express Netherlands decided to create a website to clearly show users the benefits they can enjoy as Amex card holders. The site showcases different campaigns and offers that Amex and their partners are running, and lets the user search in a number of ways for these offers.
XComplica was commissioned by Lostboys to implement this site based on the Lostboys designs. We decided to try using ASP.NET MVC which was one month old at the time to build the site, and this decision worked out great. The site is a success and has since made ASP.NET MVC a great favorite at XComplica and subsequently at Lostboys. The project was implemented on time and on a very low budget, and the daring choice of technology was very helpful in achieving this.
Zwitsal Netherlands needed a new fresh look for their website and had asked Lostboys to help. Lostboys designed a new site and called on XComplica for the implementation of the site in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
XComplica developed all the necessary components including a number of complex xml feeds sending information to the many Adobe Flash elements on the site. We also managed the deployment and installation process ensuring that as much as possible was automated thus enabling rapid release cycles.
The Anne Frank Foundation recently unveiled the new website telling the story of Anne Frank. XComplica is proud to have played a part in building this site in partnership with LostBoys. Our role on this site was to provide a sound architecture using the EPiServer CMS that allowed the development team to efficiently create the numerous templates presenting a wide range of content. We also helped Forward integrate their search engine into the project.
Radio 538 wanted to build a new and exciting web application that pushed the boundaries of web technology. The website allows users to sing with prerecorded music and have their voice automatically processed by an effect processor and then played back to them.
A number of companies partnered together to bring this project to a succes. XComplica was hired to provide expertise in integrating software and in building a solution that brought many different components together in a new way to push the capabilities of the web to the limit. The project has become a great success as well as proof that there are still many new and exciting ways to leverage the web.
